Our vision

Caloundra High is one of Queensland’s leading secondary schools. We are proud of our tradition of excellence in academic, cultural and sporting pursuits. Our school has extensive links with its community and local businesses who are strong supporters of their local youth. Many students combine study with a School Based Traineeship and Apprenticeship. We are a large, successful school with a very talented and experienced staff whose dedication and professionalism ensure that innovation in teaching and learning is a high priority.

‘Lighting the Way to Broad Horizons and Bright Futures’ reflects modern 21st Century thinking and links our school with the State Government’s Smart State Agenda and our desired future for our students. Our students are presented with a rigorous and challenging curriculum, which provides ample flexibility to cater for the broad horizons to which they aspire. Access to a broad range of academic and vocational subject choices enhances the bright futures of our students.
