Are you a Year 7 parent, and want to know what the process is?

First important date! Tuesday August 25th is our Year 7 Parent Information Night. There are 2 sessions, one at 5.15 pm and 6.15 pm. There will be school tours at 4.30 pm and 5.30 pm as well. This coincides with our Subject Selection Expo held in the Student Centre - come along and see the possibilities for the future!

We encourage Caloundra SS and Currimundi SS parents to come to the first session, and Golden Beach SS and Talara PC to come to the second, but either is fine.

Parents from other schools are most welcome at any time.

If parents and guardians wish to discuss any issues relating to Caloundra SHS, they can make an appointment at any time with Mr Steven Miskin, Middle School Deputy Principal on 54368434.

We will be visiting Primary schools in Week 6 this term to provide information and enrolment forms.

Enrolment forms are due Friday September 11th. Naturally, enrolments are accepted after this time. By having forms in by this date, we are better able to take into account special requests and circumstances expressed to us by parents and guardians.

What about the Arts Excellence program in Year 8?

Students interested in being involved in our highly regarded Arts Excellence program for year 8 in 2010, have to apply for an audition. Successful students are grouped together throughout Year 8 and 9 and develop advanced skills in Dance and/or Drama. Auditions are being held on Wednesday September 2nd, and audition forms can be downloaded directly, by clicking here.

What about enrolling in other Year levels?
