Performance Excellence Program (PEP) PDF Print E-mail
Over 60 enthusiastic middle school students are currently involved in this Performing Arts extension program on Wednesday afternoons. Year 8 and 9 students from CSHS are joined by student for the Coalition schools – Caloundra SS, Currimundi Primary, Talara Primary College and Golden Beach SS. These students recently auditioned for roles in their main production for the year, “Beth and Ted’s Excellent Adventure”. Keep an eye out for details of performance dates and times later this Term. If the student’s enthusiasm in the PEP weekly lessons is any indication of their commitment to performance work you will be guaranteed a night of fun filled entertainment from this highly motivated and talented group of young artists.
 
Book Club PDF Print E-mail

This year we are conducting a Middle School, Senior School and Staff Book Club. If your child is a keen reader and happy to discuss books, we will meet once a term in an informal, friendly meeting setting to discuss literature. Students can see Resource Centre staff to add their names to our Book Clubs.
 
Smith Family PDF Print E-mail
The Smith Family is again asking training students in the “Student 2 Student” reading program. If your child is interested in participating in either the Smith Family “Student 2 Student” program, or the MS Readathon, please ask them to talk to the Resource Centre staff. Details regarding both activities are via daily notices and on parades.
