Scholarships

Caloundra State High School offers specialist academic and sporting programs  that are designed to assist students in reaching their full potential. These include: 

2019 Scholarships

Caloundra State High School in conjunction with the Parents & Citizen's Association offers 15 scholarships to Year 7 students enrolling for 2019.  These excellence scholarships reward outstanding students who have been have succeeded academically, are good role models to their peers and are active participants in community, sporting and cultural activities.
 
The Scholarship application period opens on  Friday 16 February 2018.  Applicants are required to complete and return their scholarship application for consideration,  along with all supporting documentation by post or in person to Caloundra State High School by Friday 9 March 2018
 
  • Scholarship Package for Year 7 2019 (currently unavailable)
  • If you wish to apply for an Academic/Sport Excellence Program or Arts Extension Program the relevant application form needs to be submitted along with the Scholarship application

A Scholarship Information session will be held at Caloundra High on Wednesday 28 February 2018 from 3.00pm to 4.00pm in the Conference Room of the Administration Building.  

2019 Programs of Excellence

There are a number of Programs of Excellence subjects on offer in academic and sporting pursuits. These programs are designed to assist students in reaching and extending their full potential.
 
As each program requires a significant commitment of time and effort, it is recommended that students only participate in one Program of Excellence so that they can experience the full benefit of the program.
 
Below are the required application forms for Year 6 students considering  enrolment at Caloundra High to complete:
 
  • Junior Secondary Horizons Academic Excellence (Application Form PDF, 217KB)
  • Year 7 Sports Development Programs of Excellence  - Rugby League, Surf Sports and Volleyball Development (Application Form PDF, 580KB)
  • Year 7 Arts Extension Programs - Dance and Music (Application Form PDF, 287KB)

​Year 7 Volleyball, Rugby League and Surf Sports Development Programs applications close:

Round 1: Friday 9 March 2018 (to be considered for a Sports Scholarship)

Round 2: Friday 17 August 2018 

​Year 7 Volleyball and Rugby League Try-out sessions:

Round 1: Thursday 21 June 2018 (Year 6 High School Experience Day)

Round 2: Wednesday 29 August 2018 (3.00pm to 5.00pm)
