Student Code of Conduct

Caloundra State High School is committed to providing a supportive school environment where all members feel safe and are valued; where social and academic learning outcomes are maximised for all through a quality curriculum, interpersonal relationships and school organisation; where school practices are proactive rather than reactive and where appropriate and non-discriminatory language and behaviours are defined, modelled and reinforced.

This Student Code of Conduct (PDF, 2034KB) for students is designed to facilitate high standards of behaviour so that the learning and teaching in our school can be effective and students can participate positively within our school community. 

Uniform policy and uniform list

Caloundra SHS is a uniform school. On enrolment, parents and students agree to the uniform policy. There is a uniform committee that meet regularly, and involves a range of representatives including students, P&C, staff and administration. The school dress code can be viewed below.

Payment procedures

Parents are able to pay invoices for student fees or excursions in person between the hours of 8.00am and 12.00pm on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday at the Finance Office in the Queen Street Administration building.  For your convenience there are a variety of payment types available, to enquire please contact the Finance Office on 5436 8454 or email: accounts@caloundrashs.eq.edu.au.

Complaints Management Process

Caloundra State High School appreciates and acknowledges that parents, carers, students and community members have a right to make a complaint.

Homework policy

At Caloundra State High School, we consider homework to be an essential part of all students achieving their potential.

School locker

Lockers are available to students for their use to provide a safe and healthy educational physical resource to students. Lockers are assigned to students who have paid the annual hire fee, and completed the relevant Locker Hire paperwork.
