To provide parents/carers with a cost-effective alternative to purchasing textbooks and/or resources, Caloundra SHS operates a Student Resource Scheme (SRS). The scheme allows students to have access to resources required to engage them with the curriculum and saves parents time and money in sourcing the prescribed materials elsewhere.
The SRS is made up of the Textbook and Resource Allowance and Parent contribution. It is not used to raise funds for other purposes, and revenue collected through the scheme is applied only to the resources and operation of the scheme.
The scheme is fully supported and approved by the P&C Association.
Participation in the scheme is optional, and parents/carers are under no obligation to participate. Before making your decision, please read the Student Resource Scheme Annual Parent Information and the SRS Resource list for your child's relevant year level located in the column on the right of this screen.
To participate, parents/carers are required to complete the SRS Participation Agreement Form. If no participation form is received, the school will take the view that the parent/carer has chosen to opt in to the scheme.
Participation in the scheme is for the duration of your child's enrolment at Caloundra SHS.
To opt out of the scheme parents/carers will be required to complete another SRS Participation Agreement Form indicating this to the school.
