At Caloundra State High School, we consider homework to be an essential part of all students achieving their potential.
Our teaching staff set homework to give students the opportunity to develop a deeper understanding and engagement of their subjects. Whilst the distribution of homework helps students reach their potential it also develops; time management and organisation skills and buildings understanding and routine for work life balance.
At Caloundra State High School we recognise that homework must be a balanced part of a student’s lifestyle, hence ensuring homework holds purpose and relevance to the subject and students needs.
The homework policy outlines the expectations and guidelines for assigned homework. The policy is designed to explain the; amount, type and purpose of homework per the students year level.
