Caloundra State High School offers Signature Programs in Academic, Athletic and Arts Programs that are designed to assist students in reaching their full potential.
Our Academic Programs nurture and develop academically talented students to extend and maximise their potential. Our Athletic Signature Programs are conducted in partnership with local and regional community sporting organisations and are led by industry professionals.
All programs require a significant commitment of time and effort outside of school hours.
Entry to all programs is by application only. Some programs will also require the student to trial or audition.
Conditions of acceptance and continuation in a program:
- Maintaining an attendance rate of 85% or higher
- Following the school dress code
- Consistent positive engagement in learning and high standards of conduct
- Completion and submission of all assessment tasks by the due date
- Being prepared for learning, including a connected and charged BYO device
- Being prepared with all specialist uniforms, kit, equipment and footwear at all times
- Informing your teacher beforehand, if you are unable to attend training or rehearsals
- Participating positively in school life and positively representing the school in the community
- Representing the School at the Community ANZAC Day March on 25 April each year
- Having school fees fully paid or up to date or a negotiated payment plan
