The Junior Secondary English program involves: the study of literature (classic and contemporary), poetry, drama and media across all year levels, in line with the 
National Curriculum requirements. At Caloundra SHS, we have adopted the ‘adapt’ model for use of C2C resources within our Junior Secondary English program in order to best target and differentiate according to student needs in our context. Studying Year 7, Year 8 and Year 9 English focusses on engaging students in a wide range of enjoyable and challenging activities and texts which encourage students to use language in interesting, productive diverse, and purposeful ways.
