Design Technology
Design Technology subjects focus on design and manufacturing of products using multiple materials. Students create products using hand and power tools. Develop an understanding of the characteristics of materials used to select and manipulate them to meet design challenges. Design Technology includes Metal Engineering, Wood Manufacture and Graphic Design.
Digital Technologies
The focus of this course is digital technology
and data manipulation in real world situations. Students will be manipulating information in a variety of contexts. This subject offers students the exciting opportunity to explore software applications. Digital Technology includes Graphic Design in a range of media and programming of computer applications.
Food Technology
Providing a strong foundation for developing the ‘whole person and global citizen’. Food technology subjects support students to develop the capacity to make decisions solve problems and develop critical and creative responses to practical concerns of individuals, families and communities. Students learn how to apply nutrition knowledge through the preparation of food from Year 7. Our facilities include industry standard catering kitchens and dining room.
