Visual Arts can be enjoyed by all students from Year 7-12.
Art in Junior Secondary requires students to design and create artworks in a range of areas such as drawing, design, painting, printmaking, ceramics and sculpture.
Senior Visual Art is a demanding subject which requires students to personally express visible ideas, thoughts, feelings and observations of their world in the form of artworks. Through Visual Art students develop practical skills and critical thinking which inform their work as artists and audience.
The Arts Department also offers a Certificate II in Visual Art where students are provided with the opportunities to design and create artworks in a range of areas such as drawing, design, painting, printmaking and ceramics.
